Specialized Critical Care

Camden Clark maintains an 18-bed state-of-the-art Critical Care Unit and an 18-bed Advanced Care unit (a step down from critical care) in the South Tower. The rooms are spacious enough to allow for all necessary life-saving equipment and treatment while still allowing room for the family to be at the bedside the majority of the time. Camden Clark also maintains a 44-bed Telemetry unit as well as a chest pain observation unit where patients can be observed and treated until a determination can be made whether or not their chest pain is related to the heart. The units are staffed by nurses specially trained to care for critically ill patients.
